According to the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), investments in automation within Europe’s automotive industry remain robust, with 23,000 industrial robots installed in 2024—marking the second-highest figure in five years. The automotive sector is Europe’s largest robotics customer, accounting for about one-third of the region’s annual manufacturing robot installations, surpassing North America’s 19,200 units in the same year.
